A Little Background

This site was designed by members of NAMA, the National Automatic Merchandising Association, so that you can see the new advances vending has made. Many people have no idea that you can buy grilled hot dogs or fresh pizza or even an umbrella or a carton of eggs from a vending machine. Nor do they know that new advances in technolgy can give vending consumers the convenience of paying with a credit card. Vending has come such a long way since it first started we thought it was time we tell you all about it.

Vending has changed a lot since it first began, not only for the customers but also for the vending operators. SureVend technology recognizes when merchandise has not been delivered to the customer and will ask the customer if they would like to make another selection or receive a refund. Some machines are equipped with communication technology and can notify vending operators when there is a glitch. Now operators can tell when a machine is malfunctioning or when it runs out of a certain product. These new systems help eliminate many of the common problems that people have previously experienced with automatic vending, creating much more user-friendly machines.
